Adirondack Mountains - Lake George, Lake Placid, Plattsburgh

I left Saturday morning, June 23, and first went to Lake George, at the south end of the Adirondack mountain range, about 60 miles north of Albany . The south end of the lake was super busy with people everywhere. I headed north and ate breakfast at a country diner in Bolton Landing on the west side of Lake George. Later, I went farther north into the mountains and checked out Lake Placid, and then finally to Plattsburgh, about 150 miles north of Albany.

I asked someone to take a picture of me sticking my face through this wooden goalie cut-out. When she took the first picture, the guy from the luge simulator came over and said, "hey, you can't take that picture." I felt like a sad little kid for a minute, but then he said, "...not without this," as he pulled a fake gold medal out of his pocket and put it around my neck.
Notice no gold medal (left) and then the gold medal around my neck (right). lol.

I saw a black bear cross the road somewhere between Saranac Lake and Plattsburgh. He climbed over the guard-rail about 1/4 mile in front of me and then quickly went into the woods. I took this picture approximately where he crossed the road at. Another nice view between Saranac Lake and Plattsburgh
